Shuttle Service From Sentral KL - Ipoh - Sentral KLKeretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) will be introducing a new service called "SHUTTLE SERVICE" from Sentral Kuala Lumpur – Ipoh – Sentral Kuala Lumpur effective December 01, 2008. This service is available from Monday – Friday.
The service will began carrying fare-paying passengers with the first train leaving station from Ipoh and KL Sentral at 0500 am. There will be 10 trips a day, 05 each starting from Ipoh and Sentral KL, with the low fare saver starts from RM10 per trip.
There are ten stops enroute:- KL Old station, Kepong Sentral, Sg. Buloh, K.Kubu Baru, Tanjong Malim, Slim River,Sungkai, Tapah Road, Kampar and Batu Gajah. These services will serve a convenient and reliable connecting services to most popular tourist destinations such as Fraser Hill, Cameron Highlands, Pangkor Island, Kellie’s Castle, Sg. Klah Hot Springs and Recreational Park, Taiping Zoo and others.
The following is the promotion fare list:
1. RM 10.00
*fare offers for a single trip either from Sentral KL - Ipoh or Ipoh - Sentral KL on Economy class
*no concessions fare eligible for discount card holder, children or senior citizen
*limited to only 74 seats per trip and subject to “first come first served concept”
*ticket is open for advance booking or purchased within 60 days prior to the travel date
2. RM 1.00 (Promotion)
*100 seats is offers for a single trip either from KL Old-Ipoh or Ipoh-KL Old and subject to “first come first served concept”
*fare promotion offers for only first and last train leaving from KL Old or Ipoh
*ticket is purchase on the day of travelling and available only at Ipoh and KL Old Station ticketing counter.
*no concessions fare eligible for discount card holder, children or senior citizen
